Top > Application > Session SY-61

Organizer(s): Nagasawa Hiroki (Hiroshima Univ.)

Membrane engineering plays a vital role in diverse fields such as resource-recycling, chemical conversion, and environmental conservation, all of which are essential for achieving a sustainable society. This symposium, consisting of invited and contributed presentations, will highlight recent advances in membrane materials and separation processes, their industrial implementation, and emerging technologies that contribute to carbon neutrality and the circular economy. Through interdisciplinary discussions, we aim to explore the current state-of-the-art, identify critical challenges, and outline future perspectives in membrane science and engineering for sustainability.
