Global environment and energy issues are closely related. Althoughextensive research and technology development are being carried outconcerning them, further works are still desired. In this symposium,thermal recycling, material recycling, development of heat pump, gasturbine, cogeneration systems, and other energy-saving technologiesare to be discussed.
