SY) SCEJ Division Symposium

SY-62. [Symposium of Division of Separation Processes] (5) Distillation Troubleshooting

Organizer(s): Wakabayashi Toshihiro (Toyo Engineering), Matsuda Keigo (Nagoya Univ.)

The distillation process, which is the most widely used process in petrochemical complexes and chemical products manufacturing, has a wide variety of separation systems, equipment structures, and operating methods, resulting in many troubles. While many companies have accumulated know-how on these problems, there are also many problems that have not been handed down to the next generation. In this symposium, we will introduce troubles that exist in the distillation process and their solutions from various perspectives, and discuss shooting (including prevention).
