In the Vision Symposium of the 86th SCEJ Annual Meeting, we discussed the domestic and international situation toward a decarbonized society, carbon cycle technology by capturing and converting into resources of diluted and dispersed CO2, and domestic and international trends toward social implementation to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This was followed by a discussion on the zero-emissions challenge of chemical engineering.Organizers ONO Tsutomu (Okayama Univ.) In the Special Session of the 52nd SCEJ Meeting, which is open to the public, we invite your wide range of proposals for energy and environmental innovations and their social implementation. This session will be scheduled as a poster session in a format that allows for interactive communication during the whole period of 52nd SCEJ Meeting. Some of the proposals will be invited as oral presentations.Registration is FREE for participants attending only for this session as an audience (not as a speaker). Free registration. SP-2 Symposium of Process Science for Nanomaterials <Virtual/Live> -
Sep. 22 (Wed) 9:40-17:20 Hall LA (Program)
Organized by Division of Materials and Interfaces Division of Physical Properties Cooperation Division of Supercritical Fluids
Contrary to the active R&D for nanomaterials, their social implementation is not so many because of the problems involving in the dispersion/aggregation/arrangement of nanomaterials in the fabrication process of nanomaterial-based products. For the efficient design of chemical processes, the structuring of multilevel knowledge from the prediction of physical properties/phase equilibria to the equation of process design parameters is mandatory. The creation of the structured knowledge for nanomaterials is currently required. In this symposium, we will actively discuss the latest research results of correlation between process-structure-function of nanomaterials from a wide perspective.Organizers ADSCHIRI Tadafumi (Tohoku Univ.)
