This symposium invites a wide range of presentations on research and technological development related to environmental issues using chemical engineering methods. Topics such as the global environment, water environment, recycling, and environmental systems are particularly targeted. State-of-the-art technologies on pollution prevention, remediation, recycling, biomass utilization, global environmental protection as well as analyses such as material flow analysis and LCA will be presented and discussed.
