The Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ) has developed a new vision for 2036, the year of its 100th anniversary of SCEJ. Spending about a year, multiple workshops were held to gather a wide range of opinions, and these inputs were extensively discussed by the VISION 2036 Committee to formulate the vision. In this symposium, we will introduce 'VISION 2036' and discuss the action plans to realize this vision.
