This committee is working towards the social implementation of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), which is essential to achieving carbon neutrality. In this symposium, we will discuss the research and development trends and challenges related to CCUS with leading speakers, particularly focusing on CO2 liquefaction and transportation, which was featured on Chemical Engineering of Japan Vol.89, No.11, (2025).
