Implementing the Sapporo Declaration for Achieving the SDGs -Fostering Behavioral Change and Creating New Value in Plastic Resource Circulation-

Organizers:

Fujioka Satoko (Keio Univ.), Yamamoto Mitsuo (Univ. of Tokyo), Miyatake Masato (Resonac Holdings), Amasawa Eri (Waseda Univ.), Heiho Aya (Tokyo City Univ.)

Plastics remain predominantly disposable and continues to cause various environmental problems. This symposium will explore opportunities for advancing plastics resource circulation by introducing industry initiatives related to plastics from the past to the present. Furthermore, we will discuss the value of resource circulation through a workshop format aimed at fostering behavioral change in both individual companies and consumers.
