SS-4 Toward the World's Most Advanced Bioeconomy Society -Japanese Bio-Monozukuri for the Future-

Organizers: Imanaka Teruo (Kobelco Eco-Solutions), Sugiyama Yukiteru (Kao), Shimokubo Satoshi (Asahi Kasei)

Biomanufacturing is a field that can both solve global social issues such as oil (resource) substitution, food shortages, and environmental pollution, as well as achieve economic growth, and the market is expected to expand significantly in the future.
The government has set forth a bio-strategy for 2019, "Bioconversion of materials and resources through sustainable manufacturing methods," and has recently been developing subsidized projects through various funds.
In this session, we will introduce the efforts of cutting-edge companies to realize the coming bio-manufacturing revolution.
