SP-1 [Special Symposium]
Fusion Oriented Research for Chemical Engineering

Organizers: Tomai Takaaki (Tohoku Univ.), Hidema Ruri (Nagoya Univ.), Kansha Yasuki (Univ. of Tokyo), Tamaki Takanori (Kagoshima Univ.)

As stated in VISION2036 Vision 2, it is important to promote collaboration and fusion that transcends existing frameworks, and to combine academic disciplines and technologies in order to respond more rapidly to social changes and contribute to their implementation.
We will discuss the possibility of creation of innovative science originating from chemical engineering through the lectures from chemical engineering researchers, who are currently conducting research supported by JST FOREST Program, on challenging academic combination and innovation and its significance.
