Engineers will remain essential to the realization of a sustainable society in the future. Engineer certifications and their continuing education are effective for engineers to attract better talent and to develop their abilities through advanced education. This session will provide an overview of domestic and international engineering qualifications, including Professional Engineer (US), Chartered Engineer (UK), and Professional Engineer, Japan (Japan), as well as a perspective on the role of engineers in the environmental field.
